The Visia Digital Skin Analysis System makes it possible for the first time to scan your skin and record surface and subsurface skin conditions such as;
- Spots (pigmentation, freckles, vascular lesions)
- Wrinkles
 Pores- Evenness (colour variation in the skin tone)
- Porphyrins (evidence of bacteria lodged in the pores)
- UV spots (subsurface sun damage)
The skin analysis takes 10 to 15 minutes and involves taking two digital images, one natural and one ultra-violet, in the specially designed Visia booth. The images are then analysed using an advanced computer program that compares your personal skin characteristics to those of a database of other people of your sex, age and ethnicity.
The results are then reviewed and discussed with you by our therapist who will make recommendations on how to improve the appearance of your skin and/or how to preserve its appearance or prevent further decline. The recommendations may include in clinic treatments and/or the use of professional home care products.
At the completion of the analysis and consultation we will give you a printed report (see example below) to take home with you that contains your full colour images and your personalised skin care recommendations.
